I just picked up The Wheel of Time series. both of those are fantasy based.

The Dragonlance Chronicles and the Dragonlance Legends, both 3 book series, are pretty good.

R.L. Salvatore has a few good ones if you have read/played anything from Baulder's Gate.

If you like Merlin type things you could look into The Lost Years of Merlin. either a 6 or 7 book series about Merling growing up and what not.

Terry Brooks has some i liked. 3 different Shanarrah series. As well as a series which the first book is Running with the Demon. dont remember the other two books.

The Hunger Games books were good as well. I think i am done now lol
I will check them out. I already have the wheel of time on my list. My friend told me it was a great series but near the end the author dies and my favorite author Brandon Sanderson finishes the series of the books. He is currently writing that last book of the series.
