"WASHINGTON (AP) - Americans would be fined up to $3,800 for failing to buy health insurance under a plan that circulated in Congress on Tuesday as President Barack Obama met Democratic leaders to search for ways to salvage his health care overhaul."

I don't want to get into a whole debate about how our health care is better than yours... (which it is and it isn') but it sure is nice to never have to worry about paying out money (especially for a fine for not paying money)...

Its in the health care bill too, but if that isn't accepted its a way to force people to support nationalized health care

lol forcing people to get health insurance <_< like i was before no job no health insurance wth am i supposed to do lol. Now that im assistant manager @ the job i just got i get free health insurance from work. Wtf are the poor people supposed to do lol

Well if you are poor then it will be completely free. U know share the wealth. I mean what's thepoint of making money when you just need to give it away without any say so.
